Rootstime Production, Jah Soldiers, and the Artist: Jr. P

During the production of Jah Soldiers Musical Weapon volume 1, we were looking for a singer for this one riddim that quite a few different singers had attempted to voice on, but couldn’t “keep timing” due to it’s unique tempo, and time signature. Jr. P was the first singer to keep time, in one take, with his unique chanting and singing style on the tune titled: Holy Mount Zion.  Jr. P will also be one of the featured artists on the up-comming compilation from Rootstime production over the I-Drop riddim(aka Rootstime riddim). This crucial roots and culture riddim is taking on a life of it’s own…Will keep you posted as the final vocal tracks are completed and we get ready to mix. Most all the singers have turned their tracks in already, some really nice tunes….Jah Bless!
